The tariff code for cleaning items such as OxiClean and Pine-sol (3402.9000) was removed and replaced with 3402.9090. This change was to accommodate a new tariff code for “Laundry Detergent Sheets” (3402.9010) which is duty free.
The tariff code for Trimmer Line and Splash Sticks (3916.9000) was removed and replaced with 3916.9090 and the rate went from 45% to 5%. This change was to accommodate a new tariff code for “Glass fibre reinforced polymers composite rebars” (3916.9010) which is also 5%.
The description for tariff code 3917.3210, which was “Biodegradable drinking straws” is “Compostable drinking straws”. It remains duty free.
The tariff code for containers made of plastics such as CD Cases and Storage Bins (3923.1000) was removed and replaced with 3923.9090. This change was to accommodate a new tariff code for “Compostable and biodegradable food ware with lids, of the kind used in restaurants for packaging of food” (3923.1010) which is duty free.
Four tariff codes (3923.2110, 3923.2120, 3923.2910, 3923.2920) representing plastic shopping bags and biodegradable plastic bags were removed. These items were added to the prohibited list.
The rate for “Compostable plastic bags” (3923.2130, 3923.2930) went from 45% to free.
Two new tariff codes were added to the plastic tableware and kitchenware heading. “Compostable or Biodegradable food utensils; forks, knives, and spoons” (3924.1040) and “Compostable or Biodegradable plates, cups, other food ware” (3924.1050). Both are duty free.

Tariff codes 8418.1010, 8418.1090 also representing refrigerators (8418.1010 being of the household type) were removed.
